A few weeks ago, Kotaku published a major leak concerning MW3. The leak included screenshots of MW3 weapons, maps and information about the upcoming single player campaign.
The maps were listed as:
- Alpha
- Alps (mountainous snow map?)
- Bootleg
- Bravo
- Brooklyn (Brooklyn is a location in New York)
- Carbon
- Coast (seaside map?)
- Dome (a football stadium maybe?)
- Exchange (financial sector? market place?
- Hardhat (maybe this will be a construction site?)
- Interchange (subway? transportation?)
- Lambeth (Lambeth is a location in London)
- Meteora (Greek for "suspended in the air" / "suspended rocks")
- Mogadishu (Mogadishu is the largest city in Somalia)
- Paris (Capital city of France)
- Plaza 2 (Will this be a hotel map?)
- Radar
- Seatown (another seaside map?)
- Underground (sewers? A screenshot of a sewer was shown in the initial MW3 leak)
- Village
